Jay Leno Gets a Surprise from the 2014 Camaro Z28

In this video, Jay Leno is joined by Al Oppenheiser, the Camaro chief engineer, the C.E.O. of Camaro engineers. The new Z28 is 300 pounds lighter than the 580 hp ZL1, its also 100 pounds lighter than the 426 hp SS model. It has an LS7 V8 engine under the hood, expecting 505 hp; not as powerful as the ZL1, but hey power or weight. Your choice for this car.

Only 1,500 will be made every year, so get one as soon as possible.

The 24 hours of LeMons is here and it has some really crazy vehicles that could possibly explode your minds. A new car that is a mix mash of a Chevy Camaro / Ford Festiva and is upside down will really boggle your minds.

CD's Being Removed from cars.

The compact disk player has begun it's long downward spiral for the past couple of years. Things like thumb drives, ipods, and streaming technologies have taken the 2014 cars by storm. A few vehicles, the Cadillac, the Tesla Model S, and the Smart car, are a few companys that have decided to ditch the bulky box slot.

CD slots are being taken as options for new cars, and are where we usually hide tissues and parking meter change. If you order the optional CD in the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, or the Cadillac with the CUE system, it loses its prominent position on the dash and gets banished to the armrest or glove compartment.
The Mazda3 slot is moved way down to the center console level.

Of course we know why it's obvious, mountains of CD's accumulated over the years by owners who don't want to see their collection sent to the electric trash bin. Ipods and smartphones are evenly tied with CD players in usage. They are already using the space it occupies for larger center stacked screens. The future is here, and we aren't slowing down.
